Ingredients
Salmon Patties
- 14.75 ounce canned salmon
- 1 large egg
- 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
For Serving
- Lemon wedges
- Tartar sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the Air Fryer Basket. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil nonstick cooking spray to prevent the patties from sticking during cooking.
- Mix Ingredients. In a large bowl, combine canned salmon, egg, mayonnaise, panko breadcrumbs, fresh lemon juice, dried dill, onion powder, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and fresh parsley. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form Patties. Divide the mixture evenly and shape it into four equal-sized patties for uniform cooking.
- Arrange in Air Fryer. Place the salmon patties in the air fryer tray spaced evenly, then spray the tops lightly with cooking spray to help achieve a golden crust.
- Cook Patties. Air fry at 390°F (199°C) for 10 to 12 minutes. No preheating is required. Cook until patties are fully cooked through and have a crispy, golden-brown exterior.
- Serve. Remove patties from the air fryer and serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce for a flavorful finish.
Notes
- Do not preheat the air fryer; the recipe is designed for direct cooking.
- You can substitute fresh dill for dried if preferred, using about 1 ½ teaspoons.
- Make sure to spray the air fryer basket and tops of patties with oil spray to prevent sticking and enhance crispness.
- If you prefer, add finely diced onions or celery for extra texture.
- Leftover patties can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
