Description

This Banana Cream Cheesecake is a luscious, no-bake dessert featuring a buttery Nilla Wafer crust and a rich, creamy filling made with cream cheese, whipped cream, and banana cream pudding mix. Perfectly chilled overnight, this cheesecake delivers a smooth, velvety texture with the delightful flavor of banana cream in every bite.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 3 cups Nilla Wafer cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling

  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 24 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 (3.4 oz) packages banana cream pudding mix (powder only)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Combine the melted butter and Nilla Wafer cookie crumbs in a bowl until well mixed to form the crust mixture. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a parchment-lined 9-inch springform pan or onto the bottom of a parchment-lined half cookie sheet. Place the crust in the freezer while preparing the filling to help it set.
  2. Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip together the whipping cream and granulated sugar using a mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside this whipped cream carefully for folding later.
  3. Mix the Cream Cheese and Pudding: In a separate bowl, beat the room temperature cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the banana cream pudding mix powder to the cream cheese, mixing thoroughly until fully incorporated and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and continue mixing to ensure a smooth texture.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese and pudding mixture, beating just until smooth and fully combined to maintain airiness.
  5. Assemble and Chill: Pour the finished cheesecake filling over the chilled crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate the cheesecake overnight to allow it to fully set and develop its flavors before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the cheesecake overnight to ensure it firms up properly.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature to achieve a smooth filling without lumps.
  • You can use a regular 9-inch springform pan or a half cookie sheet lined with parchment paper according to your preference.
  • Do not cook or bake this cheesecake as it is designed to be a no-bake dessert.
  • The banana cream pudding mix powder provides the signature banana flavor and thickens the filling.
