Ingredients
Seafood & Cheese Mixture
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauces & Cheese Toppings
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (divided)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Other Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add the lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the noodles and set aside.
- Prepare Seafood Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped cooked shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, half of the Alfredo sauce, and minced garlic. Season well with salt and pepper, mixing everything together until evenly incorporated.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Lay out each lasagna noodle flat and spoon the seafood mixture along one edge. Roll each noodle up tightly and arrange seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the roll-ups. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese has melted and begun to brown slightly.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the roll-ups cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For best results, use freshly cooked shrimp and crab meat. You can substitute with frozen if necessary but thaw completely before use.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the seafood mixture.
- Ricotta cheese helps add creaminess; you can substitute part or all with mascarpone for an even richer texture.
- To save time, prepare the Alfredo sauce from scratch or use a good-quality store-bought sauce.
- Make sure to roll the noodles tightly so the filling stays intact during baking.
