Description

This creamy and rich Peanut Butter Fudge recipe combines the smoothness of peanut butter with the sweetness of white chocolate and marshmallow cream, resulting in a decadent treat that sets beautifully in just a few hours. Perfect for sharing or satisfying your sweet tooth, this fudge is easy to make with simple ingredients and just a little bit of stirring and whisking.

Ingredients

Fudge Base

  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Mix-ins

  • 2 cups white chocolate morsels
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 7 ounce jar marshmallow cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper. Set it aside to make sure it's ready when your fudge mixture is done.
  2. Cook the fudge base: In a large saucepan, combine granulated sugar, unsalted butter, kosher salt, and heavy cream. Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously, and bring it to a rolling boil. Continue boiling and stirring for exactly 4 minutes to ensure the sugar dissolves and the mixture reaches the right consistency for fudge.
  3. Add mix-ins and combine: Remove the saucepan from heat. Quickly whisk in the white chocolate morsels, marshmallow cream, and creamy peanut butter until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. For best results, use a stand mixer or hand mixer to whisk for 1–2 minutes until creamy and uniform.
  4. Set the fudge: Pour the smooth fudge mixture into the prepared parchment-lined baking dish. Allow it to set at room temperature for about 3 hours until it hardens sufficiently.
  5. Serve: Once set, remove the fudge from the pan by lifting the parchment paper, peel off the paper, and cut the fudge into bite-sized pieces. Enjoy the rich and creamy peanut butter fudge!

Notes

  • The rolling boil time is critical for proper fudge texture – do not skip timing it for 4 minutes.
  • Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean cutting.
  • You can store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  • For firmer fudge, refrigerate after it has set.
  • Substitute white chocolate morsels with high-quality white chocolate bars chopped finely if desired.
