Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (any type)
- 1 scoop protein powder (20 to 30 g)
Dairy & Seeds
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (or a thick non-dairy yogurt)
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
Flavorings (Optional)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix the base: Add 1 cup of milk and 1 scoop of protein powder to a mixing bowl. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps to ensure an even protein blend.
- Add yogurt and chia: Incorporate 1 cup of Greek yogurt and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract into the bowl. Whisk gently until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Taste the pudding, and if a sweeter flavor is desired, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup and mix well. Finally, whisk in 4 tablespoons of chia seeds evenly throughout.
- Chill: Cover the bowl with a lid or transfer the mixture into individual jars. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, allowing the chia seeds to absorb liquid and thicken the pudding.
- Adjust and serve: Remove the pudding from the fridge and stir it well. If the texture is too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen it and mix again. Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or nut butter according to your preference. Enjoy your nutritious and protein-packed chia pudding!
