Description

A refreshing and nutrient-packed smoothie combining the sweet flavors of blueberries and pineapple with the creamy texture of Greek yogurt. Enhanced with chia seeds, baby spinach, and optional vanilla protein powder, this smoothie is perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout boost.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

Dairy & Protein

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

Seeds & Greens

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 handfuls baby spinach (optional)

Liquid

  • 1/4-1/2 cup water (adjust for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to blender: Place frozen blueberries, frozen pineapple, plain Greek yogurt, baby spinach (if using), chia seeds, vanilla protein powder (if using), and 1/4 cup of water into the blender.
  2. Blend and adjust consistency: Blend for about 30 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, gradually add the remaining water up to 1/2 cup, blending for another 10-15 seconds until the desired consistency is reached.
  3. Serve immediately: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy right away for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute water with almond milk or coconut water for extra flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of water to achieve your preferred smoothie thickness.
  • Add ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie.
  • The baby spinach adds extra nutrients but is optional if you prefer a fruit-only smoothie.
  • Use plain Greek yogurt for a more natural taste; flavored yogurts can alter the sweetness.
