Ingredients
Sliders
- 1 package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12-count)
- 3 cups cooked turkey (diced, sliced or pulled)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
Butter Glaze
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (or Dijon mustard)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by lining it with non-stick foil or spraying it lightly with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
- Prepare Rolls: Carefully separate the Hawaiian sweet rolls into top and bottom halves. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread the cooked turkey evenly over the bottom rolls, then spoon cranberry sauce on top of the turkey. Lay the Swiss cheese slices over the cranberry sauce. Finally, place the top halves of the rolls back on top, covering the filling.
- Make Butter Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, yellow or Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and optional poppy seeds until fully combined.
- Apply Glaze: Pour the butter glaze evenly over the top of the slider rolls. Use a brush or spoon to spread the mixture evenly across all the tops for a flavorful crust.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
- Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking uncovered for an additional 3 minutes to allow the tops of the rolls to brown slightly and become crisp.
- Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and serve immediately for best taste. Enjoy warm as a perfect appetizer or snack!
Notes
- Use leftover turkey or rotisserie chicken as a quick alternative.
- Substitute Swiss cheese with cheddar or provolone for different flavor profiles.
- Poppy seeds are optional but add a nice visual and slight crunch.
- These can be prepared a few hours ahead and baked right before serving.
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the butter glaze.
